L-5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) is a safe, natural alternative to the amino acid tryptophan which in turn is used to form serotonin, a brain neurohormone essential for melatonin production, appetite control, and mood regulation. This product contains a natural source of L-5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) extracted from the seeds of the Griffonia plant and is certified to be free of Peak X.
