Jim Gaither

Director of Sterile Compounding

Jim Gaither is the Director of Sterile Compounding at Wellness Pharmacy. At age 16, Jim knew he wanted to become a pharmacist and worked hard to achieve that goal. Starting as a pharmacy technician and student, he learned more about pharmaceuticals and knew he wanted to help people.

Jim did not want to be in a traditional retail setting. “I believe we should always do our best to help others.” For the last 12 years, he has been able to do that through his work at Wellness Pharmacy. Jim is most proud of his work helping with the facility design and construction of the new lab space.

Jim has made a difference at Wellness Pharmacy since 2008. He has a Doctor of Pharmacy from Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy and earned his Undergraduate Degree from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. When he’s not at work, he enjoys riding mountain bikes with him wife and two children.
